So, the internet here is spotty and can be very bothersome when trying to stream shows. After a few tries, I said “screw it” and then opened up Netflix. In my “recommended for you” section was a movie called Special. After reading the description, I thought I’d check out.
I can say now, that i am quite happy that I hit play. It’s about a man named Les (played by Michael Rapaport) who takes some anti depressant medication and develops “powers”. The thing is that they aren’t powers, it triggers something in his mind which makes him hallucinate. He tries to convince people that he does have powers and he tries to stop crime. I don’t want to give anything away, but if you like superhero movies or movies about different types of insanity, you will like it. It’s sort of like A Beautiful Mind meets Defendor.
At any rate, I’m feeling a bit sick today, so I’m going to get back to the movie, eat some crackers and relax. Have a wonderful day.
